My Story
In 2008 my family relocated to Bologna Italy, where we lived for almost five years. During that time, I discovered that for many Europeans, utilising cosmetic surgery and appearance medicine is an every day occurrence. I could see that eventually woman in New Zealand would start using it more widely and I wanted to be on board when that happened - with a more natural alternative. This coincides with my love of fashion, beauty and interest in helping others improve their self-esteem and confidence.
I currently work with world renowned urologists and have been involved in clinical research for many years, leading me to start researching science based, clinically proven natural therapies to due to achieve younger, healthier skin (fight the signs of aging).
PRP treatments have been around for years, the first treatment was used in sporting injuries. The safety and effectiveness of PRP has been well established, and because of this, it was introduced and proved successful for facial rejuvenation in 2006.
My goal is to help people feel better about their appearance, so the U in U Appearance Medicine stands for "using your own self". We have all seen the the results when beauty treatments go too far and make a person unrecognisable. My goal is to enhance and refine what you already have.
